- Typesetting / Page Layout / Page Composition in LaTeX, QuarkXPress, InDesign, FrameMaker
- Set up margins
- Apply styles for chapter headings and body text and insert images in the appropriate place
- Add tables, footnotes, references and set up first page with even-odd running heads for each chapter, page numbering, landscape sections, etc. Send back the Page Proofs as PDF files for review to our client.
- Choosing the exact typestyle and size, column width, indents, paragraph spacing, and chapter titles that is appropriate to the book and meet the needs of our client.
